Awakenings

For our production of Me Too Monologues, we partnered with Awakenings, an arts organization and multi-media gallery committed to making visible the artistic expression of survivors of sexual violence. Awakenings' Creative Director Jeri Frederickson led writing workshops with the cast to help develop original monologues and group pieces to create a collage-like performance focusing on the experiences of survivors of sexual violence. Performances were held in Awakenings' gallery with no admission fee, but donations accepted for Awakenings. Click here to learn more about Awakenings, or check out the video below!

Refugee One

CTC partnered with RefugeeOne for our inaugural production of One Flea Spare. RefugeeOne is a non-profit organization in Chicago that creates opportunity for refugees fleeing war, terror, and persecution to build new lives of safety, dignity, and self-reliance.

Even though the curtain has closed on One Flea Spare, RefugeeOne still needs help from volunteers and donors like you! Click here to learn more about how you can help refugees in Chicago. To donate to RefugeeOne, click here
